Notes on Neptune and More!

Happy New Year, Everyone!

I am so grateful to have had a beautiful journey in India with a few days side trip to Sri Lanka - ahhhhh. This trip lasted about 3 weeks - very short time in the Motherland for me, but I'm learning to make the most of shorter dips back Om. In my previous life, 3 months was short - and that was appropriate for a hermit-pilgrim-spiritual ashramite. But now, I have a fulfilling and cozy base in the San Francisco Bay Area, serving clients all over the world…

Neptune in Pisces: Nearing the Halfway Point
An important note on Neptune: The planet of spiritual dissolving, Oneness, unconditional Love is about midway (14-15 degrees) through his journey through Pisces, where he will remain until January 2026. Neptune is the natural ruler of the non-dual sign of the Fishes. You might be feeling this nebulousness deepening, settling into your own soul. If you are sensitive, or an empath or healer type, or have been on a spiritual journey for a long time, you might be noticing how it’s increasingly difficult, if not impossible to “hold onto” anything – any belief system, concept, illusion of the future, expectation of what “should” be. You might be experiencing this as disorienting. You might need more rest, time off, time out of time.

Mata Kali and her Devoted One
You might be so sensitive to foods or substances that your whole entire intake habits may have to be adjusted. You might have to make a greater sacrifice for several months, or years, in order to allow the spiritual transformation to be fully embodied. Many folks have had to give up certain grains, or fruits, sugar, or animal products, etc. Some people must relinquish alcohol, or wines, cannabis, tobacco, caffeine etc. just because Neptune has made the physical body unable to process these things for the time being. You may not be able to spend time with certain toxic individuals. Whereas before you were more tolerant of challenging environments or people, you may now notice you become physically ill even when having a conversation with these folks on the phone or by email.

Neptune’s waters are purifying the body-mind-soul. We are no longer able to pretend we are separate from our environment, from the Whole, from Each Other. Increased sensitivity is helping us to understand this on an embodied level. If you’re being called to make a sacrifice in order to allow this dissolving process, know that you are on the right track. It may not be forever – that which is given up may be brought back into your life again in the future. But for now, it is what your body-mind-soul need. Take heed. Neptune is bringing us renewal. Feel the support of Divine Presence in this process. You are not alone.

With love and blessings,
Erin

More visual love from India 🐂 and Sri Lanka!🍍

Happy holidays! Namaskar!
I hope you are feeling peaceful and rested these days. One way to avoid the stress of a mainstream American holiday season is to travel to a place where Christmas is minimally recognized...like South Asia!

India has been a blessing as always. We began with an ashram stay in Rishikesh, in the North, filling our souls with the gifts of the river Ganges in her most turquoise blue season.

Next, we headed south to Tamil Nadu, visiting the sacred mountain of Shiva, circumambulating the holy hill of Arunachala 14km at Full Moon.

Finally, we spent Christmas in Tamil Nadu at a beautiful ashram uniting nonduality, cutting-edge philosophy and unconditional love.

Now, for an interlude...
I am writing from my 4-day vacation-within-travel moment, here on a peaceful beach in Sri Lanka. Good call!

We'll soon return to Ma India, topping off our visit with New Year's in my favorite megalopolis, Mumbai, where I spent a great deal of time with my Teacher before his passing.

I'll be in touch. Wishing you all an incredible New Year! Travel well, keep it light!
