New Moon Astro-Tarot Forecast – February 28, 2014

Tonight, February 28, chiming at midnight (11:59 p.m. PT and 2:59 a.m. ET / 7:59 a.m. UT March 1), we have a New Moon in the flowing, mutable water sign of Pisces, heralding blissful beginnings.

UNIVERSAL PERFECTION

There’s a hit zoology book out entitled Inside of a Dog: What Dogs See, Smell, and Know by Alexandra Horowitz. The New York Times bestseller explores dog cognition and perception, and apparently, one of the key findings is that the mind of Dog breaks things and experiences down into two main conceptual categories: (1) “Dog” and (2) “not Dog.”

When my friend Laura told me about this book, I found it interesting because I am an animal lover. Furry friends make my world better, for sure. But what I found really intriguing was the way my pal extrapolated on the “Dog”/”not Dog” main point of the book. Laura said she is now breaking things in her human world down to two conceptual categories: (1) “God” and (2) “not God.”

Yes, keeping one’s eye on the Divine – this is indeed the flavor of the New Moon in Pisces. Whether we call it The Universe, Consciousness, Oneness, Great Mystery, Shiva… it doesn’t matter. Whatever name we give the Source, it’s all the same. We know it when we feel its presence – the present moment. I personally like the made-up term “Is-ness,” or “What Is.” When it comes down to Existence, there isn’t a lot to argue about. There’s a whole lotta peace in knowing that it’s all God, and it’s in the here and now.

Radical and total Self-acceptance of wherever we are at and whatever is happening on Life’s great continuum is the penultimate message of Pisces. Wherever this New Moon falls in your birth chart* is precisely where we would do well to ease up, Nelly, on the path. Pisces asks us to enter into a fully relaxed, trusting state of consciousness. Let G-O-D (a.k.a. ‘good orderly direction’) take over now, and see what arises all by itself. Give up all effort stemming from self-willfulness. Allow your gaze to soften and see how things are easeful and flowing, and how everything is provided for perfectly in the moment.

How do we know if we’re in the “God” zone or the “not God” zone? Simple. Ask yourself if you’re firmly fine and at peace with What Is. If not, keep chucking out the mental garbage that tells you things should be different. Keep going deeper, allowing concepts that cover up the purity of Existence to dissolve, one by one, into the Piscean eternal sea. Ultimately, you will reach the nuomenal (thing-in-itself) space where you are, as you are… Free to Be.

Flexible, flowing Pisces – a mutable water sign - is the 12th and last sign of the Zodiac. At the end of the day, Pisces reminds us that both the great and powerful King and the servile Pawn are scooped back into the same chess box, no matter how the game was played and no matter how it shall be played tomorrow. We all return to the same Oneness.

Now, without further ado, let us look at how this New Moon cycle is affecting you!
For best results, as always, be sure to read for your Sun, Moon and Rising Sign.

Erin Reese’s channeled Astro-Tarot messages

New Moon in Pisces
Friday, February 28, 2014

After purifying the Voyager Tarot deck and calling upon my guides, here are my channeled messages for the New Moon in Pisces…

UNIVERSAL CARD (for everyone):

COMPASSION – THREE OF WANDS
What a beautiful card for us all to contemplate on this Piscean New Moon! We are gently reminded to align ourselves with the Universal will. Ease up on ourselves and have compassion. Use your hands not to push yourself or others, but rather to give yourself the “thumbs up” or “OK” signal. We all need a little more acceptance. Live and let live.

 ARIES:
IX - HERMIT
The New Moon falls in your Twelfth House of soul and spirit, Ram. You may feel like retreating from the World a bit as March kicks in. I know it’s nearing your birthday time, but perhaps you need to give yourself some respite and less socializing. Get in touch with your deepest self and your Inner Voice. Take some time alone to BE.

TAURUS:
4 OF CUPS - ANGER
Any residual frustration stored in your body-mind, Taurus, might be stemming from sneaky resistance to What Is. Check to be sure you aren’t harboring any hidden demands on your self or Life to be anything other than perfection as it is.

GEMINI:
II - PRIESTESS
This Pisces New Moon falls in your Tenth House of career, profession, notoriety and the public eye. You are going to be recognized in some new way for your soft-spoken wisdom. Let others come to you for advice or consultation now. It’s about attraction rather than promotion. No need to clamor for attention.

CANCER:
MAN OF WORLDS - ACHIEVER
Strive to put your best Crab claw forward now, Cancer. You have big dreams in life that shouldn’t fall away. They relate to your soul’s development. Are you giving time to your visions and spiritual practices that support those dreams? Keep swimming!

LEO:
ACE OF CUPS - ECSTACY
Bounty and union with the Divine are here for you now, Lion. Let your fears fall away and have the courage to let more love in, more joy, and more trust. You can indulge in pleasures of the senses now – the New Moon in Pisces wants Leo to follow the yellow brick road to bliss.

VIRGO:
XVIII – THE MOON
You love to plan and like things organized, Virgo, but the New Moon in Pisces urges you to surrender to the mystery. At this cycle, you may not know what is happening or where you or others close to you are headed. It’s okay. Trust the process.

LIBRA:
 XIV - ART
It’s time for you to blend creativity and self-expression into your daily life’s work. No one says spirituality has to be non-productive. They go together – your work and spirit. Make your tasks and your art into a match made in heaven this month.

SCORPIO:
XIII - DEATH
Ah, the Scorpio card of Death comes up for you, the Scorpio Eagle. You know there is nothing truly like death in the universe – it is simply a transition from one state to another. Let the concepts of what you think comprises your identity keep dying off, especially those related to how you express yourself. Therein lies true freedom.

SAGITTARIUS:
6 OF CRYSTALS - CONFUSION
Sometimes the nebulous nature of Pisces can be a real mish-mash of confusion. You may be wondering how to apply all this soulful energy to your goals. If it feels like mayhem now, you could be trying too hard to make decisions too soon. Wait a couple weeks before trying to make tough choices. Things are still falling into place.

CAPRICORN:
III – THE EMPRESS
You like to use your hands to create, build and grow things; you are an Earth sign after all. Mother Nature is a great example for you of the bounty available in your life. Use your imagination to make a new art piece, think of what you want in your springtime garden, nurture the people in your life. Healing is available to you now.

AQUARIUS:
3 OF CRYSTALS - CREATIVITY
If you’ve been pondering how to increase your income or how to manifest some needed thing into your world, wait no longer. The answer is here, Aquarius! When Pisces energy is afoot, the answer is to get creative. Work your magic, be visual, and above all, be willing to try something new. Stand on your ear for a fresh perception and get ready to be excited at what comes through!

PISCES:
9 OF WORLDS - HARVEST
This is YOUR time, Fish. Reap all the yummy goodness of the celestial spheres. You know you can live off stardust, dreams, music, and movies. You only need to feed your soul properly and the rest will follow. Nourish your wondrous spirit!
